I'm finally posting pictures! Yay! And no, I'm not an old lady. I just like to pretend to be one sometimes when I'm in my studio.

So far my pics are of old stuff that I made a long time ago, but it's a start. I'll eventually be showing off more of my costumes(historical and otherwise, and hopefully I will get around to putting up some of my other art like paintings, drawings and the sort. Maybe hanging out with other artists will inspire me to dust off the easel and get back to painting.

My paintings are very different from the textile and costume work that I do...when I get around to taking some pics of what I have, you'll know what I mean.

But for now, it's all about costuming. I have taken a little break from making period replicas and have been doing quite a bit of sci-fi costume commissions. My latest obsession: Star Wars costuming.

I'm a nerdy nerd nerd. And a geek too. Sometimes I make Star Wars costumes on my 120 year old treadle sewing machine. I'm weird like that.
